Domme, Dordogne, FRANCE

From the Promenade de la Barre and Esplanade du Belvedere can be seen a large swath of the Dordogne Valley, east is Montfort and Grolejac, west to Beynac Castle and La Roque-Gageac.

Cliffs in the distances, fields and wooded hils are included in the 180 degrees panorama which include Auvergue in the distance.

Fernyhole Point, near Salcombe,Devon

From Fernyhole Point, south of Salcombe,you can see as far as Rame Head in Cornwall as well as the famous Eddystone Lighthouse on a clear day.

Selworthy Beacon,Exmoor,Somerset

This Beacon,located in the Exmoor area, has views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales, along north Devon Coast, also can be seen is Dunkery Beacon, the Quantocks Hills, the Vale of Porlock and a lot of Exmoor itself.

You will properbly need clear weather to see all this(no mist etc)

Greatwood Quay,near Mylor,Cornwall

This quay about a few miles southeast of Mylor, has views across Carrick Roads to the Roseland Peninsula and to Mylor Harbour where they used to be a naval dockyard.

Washu-zan Hill,Okayama,Honshu ,Japan

Cerro de la Bufa, Mexico

From this viewpoint,which can be reached by cablecar, you can see the town of Zacatecas, capital of the mexican state of the same name with its colourful buiolings(some are pink),mounains and desert.

There is a Museum of the Mexican Revolution at the top.

Two mountains escarpements can be seen from this point.

Mount Ainslie, Australian Capital Territory

Mount Ainslie Northeast of Canberra has virually 360 degrees views the Australian Capital Territory and into the surrounding state of New Souh Wales.

Anzac Parade can be seen leading to Lake Burley Griffen(He designed Canberra's layout),on the other side of the lake can be seen Parliament House.

Westward can be seen Black Mountain.
Southwest, you can see in the direction of Mugga Mugga.
